North Tampa
is a prosperous mix of middle to upper class communities, which has seen a boom in growth
during the past 30 years. Carrollwood, Carrollwood Village and Northdale are the more established
neighborhoods, Cheval and Avila are the most upscale and Westchase, to the Northwest, is
the new kid on the block. All neighborhoods are located around Dale Mabry and enjoy the new Veteran's Expressway, currently ending at
Cheval and Calusa Trace. An abundance of strip centers, a restaurant on every corner, shops, schools,
multiplex theaters and parks are right in the neighborhoods. The newest of all the shopping malls is located
between north Tampa and Westchase, the Citrus Park Town Center. |
